Wide Wendy - A phat girl's journey to thinness

I decided to document my process in losing weight. I think I've been in denial long enough.

Off the Wagon Again

I feel blah. I ate too much yesterday and didn't work out. I even had a dream about people calling me fat. This is not good.

Today I will be a saint and eat well and work out. Yes.

Back to 170

I'll be curious to see if working out will help to slowly shed the pounds... Of course I'll have to change my eating habits too...

The Ins and Outs of Dining Out

Seems a bit harsh to me. No bread, sides *or* dessert?

Mom Diet

Is it possible to lose weight when your mom is constantly trying to feed you?

Lost another pound...

(I hope.) My weight tends to fluctuate up and down a lot, so I don't know if it's gone for good. For some reason, I tend to be lighter on the weekends than weekdays. Unsure if it's because I eat less or sleep more?

Anyway, it's good to see the scale going down. Badminton was a blast yesterday. I sweated like crazy, but it was really fun. I'm not a big fan of exercise, so if I can sneak it in without realizing, all the better.

The big challenge will be trying to be active on the weekdays and not eating too much (which I definitely have been doing).

Going to play badminton today. I've never been athletically gifted, but I'm willing to learn.

I've decided that besides eating more healthy food, a big thing for me will just be to listen to my body to know when it's hungry. A lot of times I'll eat if I'm bored or whatever, or because something tastes really good.

I think that's one difference between fat and thin people - thin people eat when they're hungry. They don't worry about eating at weird times or snacking, as long as they are hungry. Some fat people will starve themselves when they are hungry, yet inhale a bag of cookies when they're not.
